Neighbor to Neighbor offers volunteers to stay with aging loved ones, allowing for a break for the family caregiver. Volunteers make home visits and offer a listening ear and caring heart. Our volunteers can play board or card games, read to a loved one, take a walk with them, or simply provide companionship, while the family caregiver can get a much needed break from their caregiving duties. No nursing cares or household services are provided. All volunteers have background checks completed prior to their first visit to your home.
Neighbor to Neighbor is not currently accepting new Respite Care clients due to the Covid-19 Coronavirus and the Governor’s Safer-At-Home Mandate. All currently matched clients have been transitioned to telephone, email, and mail contact and, for the time being, no face-to-face visits are taking place. We thank you for your patience and understanding. We will notify you when we are, once again, accepting new clients and transitioning back to face-to-face visits. Stay healthy and safe; stay home if you can.
